Supported SDG’s

Bioenergy projects support vulnerable community, most often the neediest ones. BASD support small farmers through the free source of energy, the produced organic fertilizer to increase their crop yield production and generate additional revenues.

Through bioenergy projects revenues, small farming communities can have access to food, jobs, and increase the crop yield production.

Biogas production technology reduces exposure to animal manure -that causes diseases -and reduces its characteristic unpleasant smell. Replacing fossil fuel with biofuels Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions so improving air quality, improving their health conditions, and enjoying a better standard of living.

Our association provides Vocational training and Education in bioenergy sector to raise the level of knowledge and understanding of these technologies.

Improved practices of bioenergy projects have a positive impact on gender equality, as women could improve their income and status. BASD provides employees of all genders access to the same opportunities and resources.

Some bioenergy technologies, like biogas production, specifically address the treatment of wastewater and help reduce water pollution.

Bioenergy technologies help to provide access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and green energy, particularly in Least developed countries “LDCs”.

BASD creates decent jobs for people and support entrepreneurs to launch their own start-ups

Bioenergy valorizes biomass value chain and allows the creation of new activities and related jobs through the development of existing practices; the introduction of innovative technologies and the enhancement of infrastructure along the different supply chains.

The development of bioenergy projects in rural areas where biomass feedstock available, can contribute to the reduction of inequalities in less developed areas.

Bio-based waste supply chain management via bioenergy conversion is a greater key to making cities and communities more accommodating and sustainable.

BASD increase the awareness of the sustainable consumption and change the harvesting pattern to reduce the generated waste.

Bioenergy development is one of the highest contributors to the mitigation of Green-House Gaseous “GHG” emissions.

Bio-waste conversion that would otherwise be discharged into rivers, canals and oceans can strongly contribute to the preservation of aquatic life.

Biological resources sustainable management, bioenergy production, and biomass feedstock supply chain management reduce land degradation

Bioenergy contributes to improvement of rural communities thus creating more equitable and peaceful societies.

BASD works toward increasing the global partnership to strength the means of implementation of Bioenergy projects.
